Karyn Jenius, a Nigerian American visual artist and photographer. Karyn's artistic journey began early, ignited by her fascination with fashion illustration. Initially aspiring to become a fashion designer, Karyn transformed her sketches into wearable art, carving her niche as a freelance fashion illustrator and wardrobe stylist. Collaborating with photographers from Houston to New York City, her work led to a prestigious collaboration at New York Fashion Week in 2013. Fusing her passion for fashion with her innate artistic talent, Karyn ventured into the realm of visual art. Her distinct style, characterized by bold black, white, and neutral tones, draws inspiration from street art, pop art, minimalism, and modernism. Influenced by luminaries such as Fafi, Kazilla, DFace, Fin DAC, Jean Michel Basquiat, and Frida Kahlo, Karyn's artwork is a testament to her diverse influences and creative vision.
